Only the shops listed are certified members of the Goldcar Collision Repair Network. To be accepted as a member, each shop has been certified by the Goldcar Collision Repair Network to meet the highest standards in the industry. Goldcar Collision Repair Network members are also now required to sign a consumer protection declaration as part of the membership agreement indicating that they are committed to preserving the right of the consumer to choose how, when, and where his or her vehicle is repaired, and indicating that they are committed to providing a high quality, safe, correct, and complete repair. By signing the membership agreement, the shop management has also affirmed that repair agreements are strictly between the consumer (you, the vehicle owner) and the shop, and that they will not allow the desires or recommendations of any outside party (such as an insurance company) to influence repair decisions when that outside party has a financial interest in the repair. This additional declaration was added to protect you, the consumer, from the cost cutting practices of several major insurers that result in substandard repairs. Largely due to the new declaration in the membership agreement, several of the original members of the Goldcar Collision Repair Network have chosen not to sign the new membership agreement, and they have been dropped from the network.
